Africa Celebrates World Health Day

Seven cities. One community. A single shared conviction — that health is not a personal matter, it is a collective responsibility. On and around World Health Day 2026, the Dawoodi Bohra community across East Africa moved as one: walking, cycling, competing, screening, and showing up for each other in the fullest sense of the word.

Sport is the best medicine. And when you play for your community, it becomes something even more powerful than that.

This is What
a Healthy Community
Looks Like.

970 people walked, cycled, ran, competed, cheered and showed up for each other. 596 screenings. 18+ diagnoses that could change lives. And one community that has always known — health is not a solo pursuit. It is something we build together.
